Signature Dessert Recipe: French Toast Crunch


  • 1 Loaf- Challah bread, cut into 1.5” cubes with crust removed
  • 4 ea- Eggs
  • 1/3 C- Whole milk
  • 2 C- Cornflakes, crushed
  • 1 tsp- Cinnamon, divided, ½ tsp for batter and ½ tsp for the Cornflakes
  • 1/2 tsp- Salt
  • Clarified Butter
  • Honey
  • Melted Milk Chocolate or chocolate syrup
  • Powdered sugar


  • Heat clarified butter in a medium sized, heavy bottom pot to 350F
  • While the oil is heating, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt and ½ tsp of cinnamon in a bowl
  • In a separate bowl, mix the crushed cornflakes and remaining cinnamon
  • In batches, add the cubed bread to the egg mixture, making sure all sides are coated with the batter
  • As each batch gets coated, remove from the batter, allow excess to drain and roll to coat in the cornflake crust
  • When all the cubes are coated with crust, carefully drop into the oil to fry in three separate batches. With long spoon or tongs, turn the cubes as they fry to cook on all sides until golden brown
  • Place all fried cubes into a large bowl, drizzle in honey, white chocolate and (hot) Nutella as you gently toss

Sparkling Signature Cocktail Recipe: Chupacabra

  • 1 quart fresh blood orange juice
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh lime juice (about 12 limes)
  • 1 1/2 cups triple sec
  • 3 1/2 cups silver tequila
  • Kosher salt
  • 1 blood orange or orange wedge, plus 12 thin blood orange or orange slices
  • 1 tablespoon micro-planed lime zest
  • 1 tablespoon chipotle pepper puree (puree of canned chipotle peppers with adobo sauce included)
  • Ice
